Programme Overview

The objectives of the program include giving participants the chance to sharpen their professional skills and consider important educational topics critically. The participants in this program will stand out for their capacity to critically apply theory and research and comprehend the intricate nuances of contemporary educational concerns, practices, and/or policies in specific situations. They will discuss research, demonstrate skills for analysis, synthesis, and critical assessment of teaching and learning, and reflect on the study. People will acquire advanced knowledge and abilities for a range of educational contexts.

Entry Requirements :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by Lincoln University’s Senate; or
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.
  • Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
  • The minimum language proficiency of the candidates must be determined by the Lincoln University consistent with applicable program standards or based on the needs of the program.

English Requirements :
International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPs must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

The goal of the course is to give general graduates who want to pursue teaching as a career the opportunity to do so and to receive professional training in the field. Students’ academic courses prepare them for a range of employment prospects, such as:
