Programme Overview

This particular module will provide the students to develop strategic thinking in applying management principles and conduct situational analysis environment scanning. So that they can apply them an organization to achieve above average returns. Also it helps to develop and maintain a competitive advantage. The course deals with the set of managerial decisions and actions that determines the long – run performance of a business. It includes environmental scanning, both external and internal; strategy formulation, strategic or long – range; strategy implementation; evaluation; and control. Strategic management incorporates the integrative concerns of business policy with a heavier environmental and strategic emphasis

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course participants should be able to:
• Apply the concept and theories of strategic management in global business to solve business problems.
• Describe the principal models of strategic management in related industries from their global perspectives using case study.
• Analyze critically the environment and industry environment in formulating strategy for global businesses using reputed journals and valid resources, a case study.
• Construct professionally strategic implementation plans for global business
• Present strategic report for global business related industries.
