The course offered by Lincoln University College (LUC) is focused on producing highly competitive professionals in the field of civil engineering capable of taking on challenges. This course is designed for working class adults whose careers and responsibilities go beyond a single functional specialty and require a broad array of specialized knowledge and skills in Civil Engineering. The course would impart and enhance capability and capacity to develop a healthy body and mind to become a disciplined individual, disciplined manager, and disciplined leader. This module covers the basic concepts of Project management. It gives the students basic idea about the terminologies, research project: survey methods, survey design, data analysis, report writing and presentation of report.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course participants should be able to:

  1. Explain the tools and techniques of project management and their utility to ensure projects which are delivered successfully on time and within budget.
  2. Identify skill of project management and to apply them with learners to initiate, plan, execute and evaluate a project.
  3. Synthesize core practices and philosophies of each project management approach.
  4. Interpret the issues around project management and its application in the real world with course participants and learners
