The Bachelor (Hons) in Business Administration program of Lincoln University College, Malaysia (LUC) is designed to help the students to acquire academic and technical skills, so that they can take up managerial roles in the future. LUC strives to provide the graduate students with adequate knowledge of business and in-depth knowledge of their subject areas. This learning will help the students to achieve success in the professional field. It is a comprehensive and well-structured program that allows students to enroll for distance learning courses, offers great convenience and flexibility, making it the ideal business undergraduate program.

The objectives of the course are aimed at:

  1. Developing the skills and abilities required to exhibit strong leadership qualities and management abilities in a complex global and changing business environment by providing students with an understanding of the management disciplines of accounting & finance, marketing and managing people. Elective subjects can further extend this knowledge base to accommodate student interest and vocational needs.
  2. Offering opportunities to explore modern aspects of Business Administration not previously considered and to broaden aspects that were covered in previous studies.
  3. Developing a keen appreciation of some key theoretical concepts, major economic themes and significant current issues related to Business Administration.

A portfolio required for Bachelor’s (T-6) and Master’s (T-7) is a compilation of your professional experience, training, projects, and achievements to show your eligibility.

  • Employment letters or reference letters from employers
  • Job descriptions and roles
  • Portfolio of work or projects
  • Reports, publications, or presentations
  • Evidence of specific skills, such as certificates of training or workshops attended
  • A written account of learning experiences, focusing on skills, knowledge, and competencies gained
  • Awards, recognitions, or commendations
  • Volunteer work or community service records
  • Professional memberships or licenses
  • Letters of endorsement from supervisors, mentors, or industry professionals

For Master’s level APEL Applicants, YES.

An interview is often part of the assessment process to evaluate your readiness.

You will receive an APEL Certificate from MQA, which allows you to apply to

approved universities in Malaysia for the corresponding program.

YES. Lincoln University College accepts students through the APEL pathway in

accordance with MQA regulations.

Yes, it does not expire, but it is advisable to use it within 5 years after obtaining

it.

APEL.A is only for program entry. To apply for credit exemptions, APEL.C

(Credit Award) must be used.

Yes. Fees depend on the level (Bachelor/Master) and the assessment centre at Lincoln University College.

  • Bachelor (T-6) – RM 370
  • Master (T-7) – RM 560

 

It varies, but typically a few weeks to 2 months from application to receiving the APEL certificate.

Yes. If you are an international student, you must still meet the English proficiency criteria required by the university.

APEL is recognized by MQA and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, which helps support acceptance for international studies and employment.
