Yes, If you are 30 years or older and must have sufficient/relevants year of working experience, you may eligibility to apply for a Master’s programs without traditional academic qualifications.

APEL.A stands for (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) It allows students to enter Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s programs without traditional academic qualifications.

For Bachelor’s programs – 30 years of age in the year of applications

For Master’s Programs – More than 21 years of age in the year of applications

Aptitude test is part of the APEL.A process, which assesses an individual’s prior learning and skills to gain admission into a higher education program, even without traditional academic qualifications. It’s a formal examination designed to evaluate an applicant’s competence for the chosen program. This test for Bachelor’s (T-6) and Master’s (T-7).

A portfolio required for Bachelor’s (T-6) and Master’s (T-7) is a compilation of your professional experience, training, projects, and achievements to show your eligibility.

  • Employment letters or reference letters from employers

For Master’s level APEL Applicants, YES.

You will receive an APEL Certificate from MQA, which allows you to apply to

approved universities in Malaysia for the corresponding program.

YES. Lincoln University College accepts students through the APEL pathway in

accordance with MQA regulations.

Yes, it does not expire, but it is advisable to use it within 5 years after obtaining

it.

APEL.A is only for program entry. To apply for credit exemptions, APEL.C

(Credit Award) must be used.

Yes. Fees depend on the level (Bachelor/Master) and the assessment centre at Lincoln University College.
