Renal dialysis nurses provide direct patient care to children and adults requiring hemo-dialysis for renal disease in an acute-care setting. A renal dialysis nurse is familiar with kidney disorders, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or substance abuse. The programme has been intended to develop safe, competent and skilled nurses to work independently in terms of knowledge and practical skills to offer nursing care to end Stage Renal failure patient in health care setting. - Develop student’s understanding of the underpinning pathophysiology of acute and chronic renal diseases and the aetiological factors which may contribute to the development of renal conditions/diseases within local, national and international populations.

- Analyse the complex needs of renal patients within the context of changing healthcare provision with the use of evidence in practice.
