The honorary doctoral award, which was conferred on Dr. Ravi by Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, CEO, LUC, is rendered unto him for his extraordinary work in the service of education and also towards the betterment of the society.
Appreciating the work of Dr. Ravi, the LUC CEO Dr. Bhaumik remarked, “The roles and responsibilities of educational system is to manifest the divinity of each and every human soul.” He also said that the role of teachers is to remove the hindrances in students’ lives and inspire them to manifest their divinity and hidden talents.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ravi thanked LUC, and said that any educational institution should prepare their students to be job creators and not seekers.
Following the conferment, LUC, Malaysia and SRMIST, India entered into an agreement in the fields of research, and faculty and student exchange programme.
