Research and Development
Lincoln University College considers research and teaching as inextricably linked and expects all its academic staffs, scientists, including the provision of research opportunities to LUC students so that they can contribute to the development of the community. This means exhibiting impeccable scientific integrity by following the principles of good research practice.
It is expected that those engaged in research, be they employees of Lincoln University College, student or researchers, act with the highest standards of integrity irrespective of the source of funding, whether this is internal or external of Lincoln University College.
It is also expected that these standards are maintained by all individuals engaged on our business, in particular in the setting of research priorities and in the assessment of research.
Research should be published and patented when appropriate and whenever possible. This is a necessary adjunct to making research available to the public and is frequently a condition of funders.
The areas of research will be creative (problem - solving) – innovative – oriented. We are planning to develop our own degrees in different fields of study. The research is promoted in all the fields of study.
LUC promotes full and active participation of all University College researchers and administers and coordinate optimally all fully and partially funded research. And also in the process to provide consultancy services and excellent collaborative research to public and private sectors through strategic partnership.
