Computer Programming & Applications (PA 3333)

The objective

This program aims to produce graduates that have the abilities to write computer applications in the day-to-day operations of organizations maintain computing environments effectively and efficiently for the organizations develop automated procedures for routine organizational tasks

A primary objective is to give students the understanding to be in control of the technology and the confidence to embrace new developments in the field as they emerge. This is a two and a half years program in which the first year would be largely devoted to appreciating the technology, whilst the second year would focus on understanding modern computing applications.

Career Opportunities

The program would produce a graduate who would enter the business community as a valuable member of an information-systems team, generally at the junior or maintenance programmer level. Opportunities for advancement in this field are excellent, particularly if advanced programs are taken to maintain an edge in this exciting and changing field.

Intakes - JANUARY, MAY, JULY & SEPTEMBER

Entry Requirements - SPM / UEC / O-Level or equivalent; with 3 credits in any subject

Duration - 28 months (7 semesters – 5 full semester / 2 short semester)
