This programme aims to produce graduates who will have the ability to write computer applications to aid day-to-day operations of organizations; maintain computing environments effectively and efficiently; and develop automated procedures for routine organizational tasks.

A primary objective is to give students the understanding to be in control of the technology and the confidence to embrace new developments in the field as they emerge. The two and a half years programme covers technology appreciation on the first year; and focus on understanding modern computing applications on the second year.

Career Opportunities

The programme will produce a graduate who will be a valuable member of an information systems team, generally at the junior or maintenance programmer level. Opportunities for advancement in this field are excellent, particularly if advanced programmes are taken to maintain an edge in this exciting and innovative field.

Entry Requirements - SPM / UEC / O-Level or equivalent; with 3 credits in any subject

Duration - 28 months (7 semesters – 5 full semesters / 2 short semesters)
