Admission Procedure

Complete the application form and attach all necessary documents :

Step 1. Documents: Attested photocopies of your certificates (educational qualifications), 3 copies of your passport (all pages), 6 passport size photographs, Bank statements or financial declaration.

Step 2. Send the form with all the required documents together with an application fee of RM 500.00 or USD 150.00 to Lincoln College. Please purchase bank draft for USD 150 in the name of LINCOLN COLLEGE. You cannot buy Malaysian Ringgit outside of Malaysia; therefore you need to pay in USD.

Step 3. LINCOLN COLLEGE will send you the offer letter, including details of prescribed fees and receipt of USD 150 within two weeks upon receiving your application.

Step 4. LINCOLN COLLEGE will then apply for your student visa in KUALA LUMPUR, which would be processed within 4 to 6 weeks. On receiving the approval from the Immigration, Lincoln College will send you the photocopy of visa approval. Upon receiving the photocopy, you need to pay the prescribed fees to Lincoln College.

Step 5. Upon receiving the fees, Lincoln College will send you the original Visa approval.

Step 6. Make your travel arrangements to Malaysia. Please inform Lincoln College on your travel details (flight number, time of departure and arrival in KL).

Step 7. The Lincoln counselor will accompany you to the venue of your accommodation and brief you about your stay in Malaysia and education at Lincoln college.


ENROLLMENT INTAKE DATES

January 2009 Intake
Enrolment → 12th December 2008 (Monday through Friday)
Registration → 5th January 2009 (Monday)

May 2009 Intake
Enrolment → 1st April - 27th April 2009 (Monday through Friday)
Registration → 4th May 2009 (Monday)

September 2009 Intake
Enrolment → 31st August - 4th September 2009 (Monday through Friday)
Registration → 7th September 2009 (Monday)

MALAYSIAN STUDENTS

How to apply? All students must complete an Application Form available in the Admission Office. Application forms can also be downloaded HERE.

How to complete the form: Submit the accomplished Application Form, together with the following to the Admission Office of the Student Services Department:

1. A certified true copy of actual/forecast/trial examination results and a photocopy of IC/Passport.
2. A passport size colour photograph (4 copies for Malaysian students / 6 copies for International students).
3. Other supporting documents for your application (when necessary).
4. A crossed cheque/ money order or bank draft for the 1st payment made out to LINCOLN COLLEGE.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International student applications can be made directly to the International Office or through one of the College's appointed agents. Applications should be submitted at least 3 months before the commencement of the programmes of study. All international students should have a copy of the International Student Welcome Guide Book which can be obtained from the International Office.

If your documents are written in a language other than English, please send an official English translated version to accompany the original documents. Your application fee will be advised by the College upon the receipt of your documents and application form.

International students are also required to fill up and submit the Medical Health Report to Lincoln College before coming to Malaysia.

Advanced Standing
You may be eligible to receive advanced standing for previous studies. Credit transfer arrangements for other cases are assessed on an individual basis. If you are applying for advanced standing, you must also complete the application form for subject exemptions.
